Deta and I have had the pleasure recently to photograph some very special people. The best part about it is the friends we've made. Everyone is so nice!

This little fellow was the sweetest thing! Deta and I both loved photographing him. As I was editing these photos, I decided that he has the LONGEST eyelashes I've ever seen. I should be so lucky.....

Oh. Thanks goes to my sister Valarie for finding that great chair in the second picture. She was very agreeable about me USING it but wasn't as agreeable when I told her I wanted to BUY it from her and keep it. But being the good little sister that she is, she let me buy it today. So hopefully, I'll be using it a lot more.

Captain Valarie is on the look out for land! Do you think she was a lit-tle too close the edge?!??! We were about 100 feet above the flooded river.

Actually, she was scouting out the next place for Kyle to stand in order for me to take his picture. I really believe she wanted him to get to the other side.....the hard way.

A Senior Picture Taking Trip

Yesterday, Kyle, Valarie, and myself took a little trip to the big town. We needed some senior pics of Kyle. I think we have some pretty good ones. Along the way, I snuck and took a few pictures of Valarie as well. :)

Yeehaw! There is lots of great rusty tin and old wood and concrete! Wooohooo! Can you tell I'm excited? You can't see alot of the background in this, but I thought I would share anyway. I also took some pics of a total stranger. :) His turned out really well! I don't have a model release from him though. So I had better not post his yet.

Got up late.
Played around on the computer when supposed to be getting ready for work.
Ate left over biscuit and gravy for breakfast....made j. a bowl of Special K.
Took J. to school.
Got to work late...no kidding.
Tried to resolve a problem at work. Everybody is now confused. We'll have a meeting about it Monday. That should do the trick. mmmhhmmm.
Ate chicken wings for lunch.
Prepared for Monday's meeting.
Worked late.
Picket J. up from football tryouts.
Tried out new chinese restaurant that J. wanted try. Wondered why I'm fat.
Went to grocery store to get S. something to eat. He says chinese food is made from cats.
I got him some chicken.
Came home and ate.
Played on computer instead of cleaning or doing laundry.
Watched J. do homework alllllllll night long.
About to go to bed...what will we wear tomorrow?
Hmmm. Better find something to wash.

Shane was on a local TV show yesterday morning called Cooper and Co. Here he is performing BLue Smoke and Beans and Taters. Check it out. The first video has about 5 minutes of another guest before Shane plays Blue Smoke. Soooo....you might want to fast forward to the last two minutes. The second video is all about Beans and Taters.

Well, I guess you know why I'm calling this blog the monkey-toed gal..... If you know me and you know my guitar playing husband, you know that he has written (and regularly performs) a love song for me. You can hear most of it here....

Can't you tell how much he loves me? HaHa.

Here is a picture that I took of him last Sunday.

He wrote another song about me once. It was called "She's My Little Old Scab Picker." You probably don't want to know about all that.
